Summary:

PROFORM Concrete Services is currently seeking general construction labourers with carpentry & cribbing experience.

Terms of Employment:

Seasonal, full-time, overtime, weekday and weekends, travel required

Job Duties:

  • Placing and tying rebar
  • Setting forms
  • Operate hand and power tools
  • Clean and prepare construction sites
  • Maintain tools and equipment
  • Loading and unloading materials at construction site
  • Shovel and rake concrete
  • Material handling and storage
  • Ensure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in concrete and masonry construction work
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions 
  • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
  • Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency

Requirements:

  • 1+ years carpentry and cribbing experience a requirement
  • 1+ years construction industry experience preferred
  • Must be able to work out of town
  • Driver’s license is required
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures
  • High school diploma/GED preferred
